Under My Head

Every night, when I lay down,

And lift my feet off the ground,

I pull my covers up close to my face,

And rest my head on a favorite place.

If I had to leave my pillow behind,

I'd find a peaceful state of mind,

Is put to the ultimate test,

For without a pillow how can I rest?

I'll keep my pillow until I’m old or I'll be sad,

Since it stores all the dreams I’ve ever had.

And when something is on my mind,

I'll ask my pillow to search and find,

Good dreams to make worries end,

That's why my pillow is my night's best friend.
