Dragging Your Feet

When pushed to do what I don’t like,
Instead of starting a hunger strike,
I take much longer than I should,
As if I hadn't understood.

Sometimes I make it my secret mission,
To wear down the others' opposition,
By taking a long time to be finished,
Until their desire has diminished.

Instead of using this evasive action,
There's one that gives more satisfaction.
It’s always best to say how you feel .
Dragging your feet is not ideal.
