motivated: a feeling of being stimulated to do something or encouraging someone else to want to participate or do something.
example: My parents offered to give me a weekly allowance to motivate me to keep my room tidy.
spiff up: make nicer or spruce up.
mindfulness: to pay attention to one thing at a time; to slow down.
example: Our teacher told us to use mindfulness when taking a test, which means to not think about anything but the question before us.
mirth: great joy, laughter, cheerfulness.
example: Santa Claus's eyes twinkled in mirth as he drank the glass of milk that was waiting for him on a table near the Christmas tree.
