bait: something to attracts another creature to you

example: I keep a treat in my pocket as bait so that my puppy will stay close by my side.

frantic: wild with excitement.

example: I woke up too early on Christmas and was frantic until my parents got up because I couldn't wait until I could open my presents.

hypnotized: to startle so that movement is impossible, to influence another.

example: The headlights seem to hypnotize the deer so that he didn't get out of the way of our car and we just sat there on the road until the deer had the sense to dash off the road.

antics:a playful trick or joke usually done by doing something odd or unusual.

example: Karen wore a jesters hat to school on her birthday and that was just the beginning of her day of antics.
