Bullies

reject: to spurn or have somebody refuse to accept.
example: I reject the suggestion that we pretend we forgot it was mom's birthday, I told my brother and sister.

disregard: to not pay attention to.
example: I wanted to focus on taking the text, so I had to disregard the hunger pangs in my stomach.

decrease: to take power away from or make smaller.

example: If you don't laugh at his stupid jokes, our teacher told us, you will decrease the pleasure he gets from making them.  

impact: when a person or thing has a great influence either physically or mentally.

example: Learning new vocabulary words will impact my ability to become a famous writer.
