meditate: to be able to focus the mind on one thing without letting other thoughts interfere.

Example: Mom tells me that counting sheep is like meditating since I am concentrating on only one thing.

communicate: when two or more people exchange information or ideas.

example: It's hard to communicate with my one year old brother since he doesn't know how to speak yet.

interstate: a highway that travels through one or more states.

example: No trucks are allowed on the road I live on, but must use the six lane interstate nearby.
