Pointing up, eyes opened wide,
I held baby brother close by my side.
What do you see when up there you look?
Is it the plant hanging from a pot on a hook?
“Eyee Eyee,” he squealed so I switched off the light,
Then flipped it on, to see if the light was right.
Nope, that didn’t do it for he continued to squeal.
Gosh, he sure sounded like a small baby seal.
I flipped off the ceiling fan and his eyes stopped theirscan.
He was looking, I realized at the blades of the fan.
Round and round went the fan blades as did his eyes.
It was the fan that delighted him, now that’s a surprise!
