Last week I dropped my glasses while playing in the grass.
And when I found them, they were only, shards of broken glass.
My keys disappeared, or so it seemed, I looked everywhere,
Inside my pockets and book bag, I even searched my hair.
I asked Mom for money, to buy a drink at school.
"Here you are," she said, "With cash you are no fool."
I was careful with that money, from my sight it didn't go far.
Except I did something funny, as I climbed into the car.
I opened my hand a little, and my money flew away.
Where it landed I can only guess, perhaps the Milky Way.
Maybe the day was unlucky, and I could hope in coming weeks,
My luckwould be reversed, and I'd be the one who finds and keeps.
As years went by I didn’t lose as much, and the important thing to mention,
The secret to stop being careless, is to pay complete attention!
Lose, Lose, Lose!
